Systematically Reinforcing the System for Promoting Design |

To keep pace with the rapid developments of the knowledge-based society in the 21st century, efforts are currently being made to revise the Industrial Design Promotion Act, which is the legislative and systematic foundation of design promotion.
This is done in such a way as to effectively foster and develop the design industry as a national strategic industry. |
| Conducting Design Surveys |

Survey and R&D projects are being implemented for the purpose of devising intermediate and long-term strategies for advancing the design industry. In order to reinforce the competitiveness of the nation is by these specific efforts, KIDP is;
- constructing comprehensive databases encompassing information on design-related census data to determine the demand for
design manpower, the current status of design development, and other information necessary for Korea to join the ranks of advanced
design countries.
- laying the foundation for proceeding with design development through organic cooperation among industry, academia, and other
research groups.
