The Korea Design Exhibition is one of the Korea's best design competitions hosted by the Korea Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy and co-organized by KIDP and the Korea Federation of Design Associations (KFDA). It promotes products and other design developments as well as potential future designers.

| Exhibition Overview |
Launched in 1966, the Korea Design Exhibition celebrates its 43rd anniversary this year. During its 43 years, about 20,000 professional designers have been introduced.
Not only professionals, but also design students and amateurs participated in this event in all seven independent fields, Product, Graphic, Textile/Fashion, Interior/Environment, Package, Craft/Jewelry and Multi-Media Design.
This year, participation in the fields of Interior/Environment, Multi-Media, and Craft/Jewelry significantly increased with the recently rising issues in each field. In addition, many design items reflected the latest trends, newest materials and mass-productivity.
For all 7 fields, over 2,000 items were entered and 566 items received awards, including 1 Presidential Award, 2 Prime Minister's Awards, and many others. Total participation items are increasing throughout each year.
